pposed to be about 2 in over stock, but looks to be more. Picked up vibration in drive shaft as a result and want to put in a xnsfr case lowering kit ( there is now quite an angle in the drive shaft ). One of bolts holding up the skid plate is broken off and there is rust around the remaining bolts. Don't know what I will find when I start taking off the skid plate. Has anyone attempted to reinforce this area of the frame by using angle iron and mounting the lowering kit and skid plate to the angle iron?

Any advice or experience in this regard would be appreciated.

Fred, what did you end up doing about this? I'm staring at some skid plate attachment issues now myself. Thanks!
