Front Bumper Fog Lights

I will be mounting up some fogs on my front bumper in the "stock" location.

I looked up the stock mounting, and they have some Angle bracket thing that appears to mount to the bumper and then the fog mounts to that?

Anyone with stock fog lights who could take a look at how they are mounted.

Does the angle bracket just mean the fog is actually not drilled through the bumper? OR does the angle provide extra support, but the fog is drilled through the bumper?

I have a sahara, so it should have come with fogs, but the PO, removed them, and mounted some nasty huge bolt like thing in the location... Maybe the bolt was for fogs, or something else... weirdest mounting thing I ever saw... attached picture of what was on my bumper... I had to cut these frikkin things off, it was a real pain!

I have the fac fog lights, the bracket extends past the bumper and the light is mounted to it. the light does not bolt thru the bumper. but as you already have holes in your bumper, why not mount them there.

Thanks, I guess that was just to get them farther back... Yep I will probably just use the holes I have then, save me from trying to track down that part.

Yeah just use the holes in the bumper. If there aren't any holes, a few drill bits, a good drill, and some cutting lubricant will have you a pair of new holes in no time flat.

2.5L Genius of some sort.
