Front hubs and bearings

is it possible to remove the front hubs and just grease and reinstall the bearings?

I just did this in November. Save yourself some time and use a slide hammer to pull hub off! It's fairly straightforward though, no cneed to disconnect brake lines or anything. And yeah, the bearings are pressed in, most new hubs have them already in when you buy it.
