(Sorry forgot model; 1989, YJ 2.5i with manual gearb.)
Sorry for my bad english, but I am from Sweden and dont know all the technical words in English.
Therefor its very difficult for me to make a good search. I guess this topic has been up several time.
I have replaced the front left U-joint, following instructions found here in the forum; Thanks
But I also need to do it on the right side. Looking at the Haynes manual, they suggest that you must open the differential and remove something??? and also open the "vacum bell" (4wd) on the right side of the axle to remove something. Do I really need to follow the Haynes steps inorder to replace the U-Joint or is there anything easier???
I have a gasket for the vacum bell housing if I really need to open it, but do I also need a new gasket for the differential?
Thanks for any comments/answers
