fuel injector problems on 95 wrangler .. Please help!!!

got code 27 injector 1 control circuit fires improperly.. changed injector 1 and it is still mis-firing. reset computer and now code is not showing, but it's still mis-firing. changed all the sparkplugs. how can i check to see if it's wiring or the computer itself. Any other ideas of what i can check?? 4cylinder 2.5 liter 5 speed manual

It could be multiple things. Some weird things happen when a crankshaft position sensor goes intermittent. Cracked dist cap. bad fuel filter maybe. Did the problem start recently or gradually get worse.

Code 27 doesn't mean just number one injector, could be any of the six. Check your electrical connections at injectors are completely plugged in. You can also get this code if one of the o-rings is causing a vacuum leak. If you want to test the injectors do an ohm test if one is way out from the others then that's the culprit. To test if o-ring has a leak, start engine and spray carb cleaner around injector hole. If the engine bogs down when hole is sprayed then that is the o-ring (use non-flammable carb cleaner!!!!)

The Crank sensor is on the drivers side of the bell housing just above the slave cylinder.
