Fuel Pressure on Startup - Need Help Please

In December I installed a new fuel pump and sender unit on my 95 YJ 4.0 liter engine 15 gallon tank. It has been hard to get started ever since. It runs great once it starts, but there is NO pressure at the fuel rail immediately after I stop the engine, I suspect a bad fuel pump from Quadratec. I need to verify this, then try to get a replacement.

Call up a local AutoZone, they should be able to tell you what the pressure is on startup... and they should have a pressure gauge if you don't have one.

at start up you should be at about 20 lbs. of pressure. Could it also be the fuel regulator that is at the end of the rail? clogged or bad. maybe even vacuum

Took it to a Jeep Service shop. The mechanic examined the car and believed the aftermarket Crown Automotive Fuel Sending assembly was the problem. Clearly the fuel line was too low on pressure at the fuel rail with the car running and zero pressure immediately after turning off the engine. They sold me a new Jeep made OEM fuel sending assembly. It was more expensive and looked like it was probably made of different materials. I installed it that afternoon and my old Jeep runs perfectly. It starts immediately and I have my horsepower back!
