Fuel problem

I'm having a fuel problem with me 1990 Jeep Wrangler can some one help? Every time I get to a quarter of a tank of fuel or less, and I turn left my Jeep dies. I can turn right or go straight, but I can't turn left with out the Jeep dyeing. I dropped the tank and cleaned it out. I also changed the fuel filter. The pump works great and if it was a pinched line it would dye at a half a tank or more.

sounds like water in there... you did the right thing on that front.

Weird... anyone else ever seen this?

Is it possible there is water somewhere inside the carb that would cause it?
