fuel problems

I noticed today that when I give a little gas it almost stalls. For example when you shift to the next gear it feels like it wants to stall. Next when I sit still in nuetral and rev it up it sounds like it's clogged.

My guess is fuel reg, fuel pump, or clogged cat.

Let me know what you all think. Got new plugs, throttle body cleaned, and new fuel filter already installed.

Keep it simple. First thing I would do is pull the plugs and see what kinda condition they are in. Spark plugs can tell you alot.

How long ago, did you gap them? If you have anything over 500miles on them the plugs can tell you many things from the color/condition of them.

So....you are getting trouble codes but they dont pertain to a fuel issue. What codes are stored?

well if you want you could always unbolt the cat and run open exhaust and see if it still bogs down. thats a quick check. if it doesnt bog change your cat or just completely remove it. If it does still bog onto ur next prob. could also be clogged injectors

I use seafoam every other full tank and use on every other oil change love the stuff. I think the belt is a little loose which might cause horsepower loss so trying that today and will see what happens.

You guys are like a choir singing its praises. I think I will try it as long as no one starts speaking in tongues after using it.

Figured it out. Little loose serp belt. Horsepower and stall problems gone. Check engine light off too.
