Fuel problems 91 yj

First time Jeep owner. 91 YJ, 4.0L, auto, 88K miles.
I just got it in April.

I had problems early on with it rotating but not starting. I replaced the coil, plugs, wires, cap/rotor, fuel and air filters. I also replaced the stator (camshaft position sensor), only to discover that it was the Crankshaft Position Sensor giving me the problems.

It has been running good for the last few weeks. However, I did have a few instances where the engine would cut out--almost like it was not getting any fuel. It would continue to run, just not accelerate, but then it would be fine. It stopped doing that too. So I though all is well.

Well, three nights ago, I got caught in the rain with the top off. No worries, it will dry (and I will too). The next day, it would not start and still doesn't. It is doing the same thing--cranking but not starting. It made it home in the rain without any problems. It just won't start now. Today, I checked the fuel pressure at the fuel rail and I have nothing.

Not sure if this is rain-induced or what. I checked my fuses and they appear fine. Suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

JW

What's the best (or easiest) way to go about checking power to the pump?

To All,

Thanks for the input.

I found the problem. Fortunately for me, it was a bad relay for the fuel pump. $10 at the parts store and I am good to go...for now.
