Fuel Pump Gasket Shot

I had a gasoline odor for few months now, at first I thought it was one of the lines from the roll-over valves but corrected them. The smell still persisted. So dropped the tank again and pulled off the fuel pump plate. The gasket was completely deteriorated to the point it was in several pieces and sort of crumbled when twisted. Odd that the tank did not leak gasoline or at least it did not spill out when full but it may have seeped some. I guess you never know till you look
