Fuel smell 2.5L YJ, whats the fix?

I have a 89 YJ, 2.5L.....bad fuel smell coming from the carb area. I know I have a bad micro switch near the throttle cable (which I can't find a replacement for) and I am replacing the air idle motor (hopefully that helps a little).

Anybody have any recommendations/experience with this issue? I would like to get rid of the smell...wife can't take it.
