Gas Leak

I have a small hole in one of my gas lines. Any ideas on what I can use to patch it up, other than replacing the entire thing.

Not for nothing, but a leak in the gas line - IMHO - would lead me to replace that particular line... I'll patch other things, but a gas leak I think deserves to be corrected, not patched up. Find the exact place, look up the replacement section/line on cyberjeep.com and fix it up... again, my humble opinion.

You can splice it if its a rubber hose line, but frankly as stated above when it comes to gas, replace the line is best.

I once put a rubber sleeve over and lightly clamped a fuel line, but just to get home. And I was scared the whole way.

I can't imagine you'd save enough money to make that fix worth your peace of mind. Replace the line. We don't want to lose anymore 88 YJs.

Oh, yeah. And you. We want you to stay safe too.

When dealing with a fuel leak you should always replace the line for safety reasons.
Nothing good could happen if a patch does not hold.

Merry Christmas everyone !!
