Red face Gauges irratic im confused

I HAVE A 1994 JEEP WRANGLER SAHARA MANUAL
OK HERE IT IS IT STARTED WITH MY OIL GAUGE DROPPING AND THAN LEAKED SO IT WAS REPLACED NOW MY OIL GAUGE GOS HIGHER THAN IT UEE TO BUT THAT DOSNT CONCERN ME.
MY CONCERN IS THAT ABOUT A WEEK AGO MY TEMP GAUGE STARTED TO RISE VERY QUICKLY WITHIN APPROX 2-5 MINUTES WILL GO UP TO 190 ALSO I NOTICED THAT WHEN THIS HAPPENS MY RPM WILL DROP TO JUST ABOVE 0 WHEN IM SITTING IDLING AND IT WOULD IDLE A LITTLE ROUGH. SO I REPLACED MY TEMP SENSOR AND SENDING UNIT. NOW MY TEMP GAUGE GOS ALMOS IMMEDIATLY OR WITHIN A ,INUTE OF RUNNING TO 210 DEGREES AND THE RPM NEEDLE WILL DROP TO 0 WHEN SITTING IDLING ONLY THING THAT CHANGED IS THERE IS NO ROUGH IDLE ANYMORE
PLEASE PLEASE HELP

Sounds like thermostat is stuck open. There cheap and if original it's overdue to be replaced. If it were mine I'd start there.

Talking Gauges

thanks i have recently replaced the thermostat probally 6 months ago. i know they can be defective and i guess that is possible. but it is still good had it rechecked.
ooops sorry for the cap locks i had typed half way thru the post before i noticed .

This may sound dumb but a couple months ago my Temp. Guage would stop working and start back all of a sudden. I changed several sensors and it would still just work when it wanted too. About a week after it started messing up my battery went bad. I replaced the battery and haven't had a guage problem since.
