Gears ???? SOA

I have a 87 wrangler with a 4.2 carbed motor im pretty shurr its running dana 30 front dana 35 rear

i just bought a super short sye trans case because i messed mine up and now have no 4X4 and a cv driveshaft beacuse my u joints or shot and now i need new rear gear because their gone to so in other words im ganna be doing a soa

im buying new shocks pitman arm drop and extended break lines i allready have 35 thats im goin to put on

my question is what kind of gears dose the stock dana 35 run in the rear because i need the same gears front and back or else i think ill blow my trans case to bits again

if i need any other parts to do the soa can u please let me know

Look on the bolts that hold the cover on, there should be a metal tag with the gear ratio on it. If not, pop the cover off and count the teeth on the ring and the pinion. Divide the little gear into the big gear to find the ratio. 4.56 or 4.88 would be good for 35's.

I believe a stock D35 in the YJ camew with 3.07's but as stated in the above post look on the metal tag that is located on the bolts of your diff. cover. Or if worst comes to worst count the teeth and do your math.
