getn eady for engine mods......!!????!!

I am about to order the dizzy upgrade with 8mm wires, a 4.0 head with valve cover, and haven't quite decided what carb. probably going to be the 2150 so I don't have to bother with swapping intakes like I would have to do to place a 390 cfm 4 barrel on there. is there anything else I should plan on doing while replacing the top end ? water pump, alternator etc. is all new( ish ) so I really have no reason to replace those at this time.

if you check ebay sometimes you can find used 4 bbl manifolds, check under clifford or offenhauser. a hotter cam would be nice, check comp cams. a more open exhaust will really help, no need for headers but a 2 1/2" cat and muffler works good.

Yes - you will need the 4.0L Exhaust manifold/Header... But you can still keep your same Intake if not going to a 4-barrel...

Oh! And you're also going to need to modify your P/S pump bracket with the 4.0L head... You just have to cut part of the bracket.

The picture is someone else's - I had a question before about how exactly to modify the bracket and someone posted this up for me...
