Question Got rust???

So my tub started to have rust in many spots. I am getting new front floor boards. I am thinking of getting the jeep repainted. But what should I do about the rust? should I do an under armor and rhino interior? But i like the carpet feel.

You can always put the carpet back in after you rhino line the tub.

Step 1: Violently rip out the carpet

Step 2: Walk away.

Having carpet in a jeep is like having carpet in a truck bed! just my opinion.

Just finished putting carpet in.... pain in the butt. If u have to cut all the holes yourself. Definitely not worth it. If mine isn't quiter with it I will be very PO'd

For the rust , if its not thru the metal , just surface rust . Check out this website www.rustbullet.com . I just bought some but hav'nt used it yet , sounds great !

The previous owner of my 99 left the drain plugs out and a few months after i bought it i pulled the carpet out and found a rotted out hole in the floorboard. I took an old aluminum for sale sign, cut it to size, and used some pop rivets to secure it over the hole...not the most "professional" fix but it worked perfect and once the carpet was back in you couldnt tell, the floor was solid as ever!

Cut out the rusted edges of the hole, coated the edges of the hole and floorboard with rustoleum, then cut a piece of the sign that was a little bigger than the hole to make sure i would drive the rivets into the solid parts of the remaining floorboard.

I have to replace my windsheild too. this is a night mare. Worst thing is when i come in the morning and I have a puddle. thank god for my plastic floor mat that acts like a pan when it collects all the leaked water

You might want to try POR-15 also, basically the same thing but a little cheaper at Summit Racing.
