got the head back from the shop

Hey ..
Picked up the refinished head fdrom the shop. It is now the nicest part of my YJ.

So I started scraping down the mating surface. What a mess. Anyway, also started cleaning the tops of the pistons with seafoam. They're a disgrace as well.

Also, I mentioned earlier that I want to turn the crank manually. I don't see how that is done based on what I got from the po. There's a bolt stuck in the end of the crank... assuming that's how the timing chain cover gets fastened down? Or the seal for the cover? Not sure.

Pics are included ... I'm a newbie wrencher... any clues are greatly appreciated.

What happened to the pulleys? Ideally you'd put the pulley on and with the bolt it, you can crank. Without the head on it, you can probably get away with cranking on the larger gear pictured there.

PO,
Idiot here. That pulley was in the trunk with some other parts. Hahhahaha. I'm learning. Thanks for the direction.
