So i bought a decent pair of half doors. The only problem is that they are not locking. Is there any way of conveerting them to locking half doors?

are the locks not working or not there?

FYI, locked doors on a soft top usually ends up in a cut soft top/window

True that the locks are useless for a soft top. I just bought a hardtop and full doors. I don't have the keys for the locks. Auto zone has two cylinders and keys for the doors for 15$.

The rod that goes between my door lock and and the key lock broke years ago and I never saw a reason to fix it with the soft top, recently I decided to get a hard top with upper hard doors now I have to find the parts to fix it.

I wouldn't go to the trouble, but half doors weren't always locking. From your post it is unclear if you have locking half doors with missing hardware, or half doors that never had it. I have a hard top and regular doors, but if I eventually buy a soft top I wouldn't worry about door locks.

Decided not to make another thread. But since we are talking about half doors my doors on my 89' wrangler, especially my passenger side door don't like to close. Especially in winter. WD-40 helps a little but can you replace the door handle/the part that actually latches fairly easy? Any suggestions?
