I'm not a glass guy so I don't know whats involved in drilling the holes but it sounds like $$$ and there is some sort of plastic molding over the edges of the glass. I think if you want a glass one you going to have to buy a used one off ebay or craigslist. The ones on ebay are going for at least $200. But I did find one that was just listed no reserve starting at $10.
You might try that plexiglass idea you had. Do you still have the hinges, bottom rail and hydraulics? If you want to try and make one I can still get the measurements for you but it will take a little bit longer to get the location of all the holes.
Let me know.
Hey, I was wondering if this offer was still up because i got my first wrangler TJ 98 last fall, someone broke my soft top windows
(all of them
) for Christmas, talk bout happy holidays. its all good though it was really falling apart.... anyways, found hardtop
in really good shape
and cheaply priced
, without a rear glass
and thought of getting it done at the glass shop, my friend works
there and said if i had a drawing
i could get it for cheap
so if you or anyone else
could help me out it would be great... Thanks so much in advance.
