Hardtop Rear Glass Broken.. help?

So the hardtop's rear glass is broken on this jeep I just bought.. Anyone know place that sell them? I been thinking about getting some plexiglass and cutting it to fit? I am basically broke and have no money to put into it right now I heard they are expensive to fix.. Anyone know a place you can even buy them..

thanks in advance

Is the busted out or just cracked? If the glass is still there just about any glass shop can make a window to fit with the right measurements.

Well upon further inspection of the back hatch it might be a bit more difficult to make than I though. There are at least 8 holes that would need to be drilled and the sides don't go straight up like I thought they did. It sort of narrows the closer it gets to the top. I'm not a glass guy so I don't know whats involved in drilling the holes but it sounds like $$$ and there is some sort of plastic molding over the edges of the glass. I think if you want a glass one you going to have to buy a used one off ebay or craigslist. The ones on ebay are going for at least $200. But I did find one that was just listed no reserve starting at $10. Click me.

You might try that plexiglass idea you had. Do you still have the hinges, bottom rail and hydraulics? If you want to try and make one I can still get the measurements for you but it will take a little bit longer to get the location of all the holes.

Let me know.

Hey, no prob. I would go with 1/4" thick plexi for that window.

Hey, I was wondering if this offer was still up because i got my first wrangler TJ 98 last fall, someone broke my soft top windows (all of them) for Christmas, talk bout happy holidays. its all good though it was really falling apart.... anyways, found hardtop in really good shape and cheaply priced , without a rear glass and thought of getting it done at the glass shop, my friend works there and said if i had a drawing i could get it for cheap so if you or anyone else could help me out it would be great... Thanks so much in advance.

This is the best I can do. I don't know how to measure the rounded corners at the top so you'll just have to guess or go off the hardtop opening.
