Headlight problems

Hey guys. My headlights keep going out after about 10 minutes on my 95 wrangler. Turn off the switch, wait a few minutes, and they come back on.
I disconnected the headlight switch and it looks fine, but the connector(especially the wire to the headlights) is dirty and rusty. I'm sure this is the reason for the headlights going out, but don't know how to replace this connector. Anyone know where to buy one? Thanks!

could be just a regular slide on spade connector, cut off old one, crimp
on new one

Head Light Fix

I just had the same problem on my yj .
And since I am a bio-medic tech ( i fix cat scans and mri )and to cheap to buy a new switch( 18.95 advance auto parts)

I pulled the head light switch apart and cleaned all the contacts with electric cleaner and then used a contact file to resurface the contact points and have not had a problem since. And for a week I drove around day and night with lights on bright to test my work.

So now you have a choice

Only in a Jeep and for my Jeep

Hey Guys. I'm gonna try the same repair here. If I turn on my brights the lights eventually go out after a few minutes. I ordered a replacement switch on ebay for 20.00 so I'll see if that clears it up and get back to you.
