Heater Help!

I need to know how to manually adjust the heater control from the cool setting to the warm setting. The cable has come loose from where it's supposed to attatch to and I found it hanging by the side fire wall on the passenger side. I'm not sure where it goes or if the cable is broken so I need help for now on how to manually adjust the "cool" and "warm" setting. Is it the box directly under the glove box closest to the floor? Help because it's even starting to get a little cold here in Florida. Thanks!!

I'm really confused. With the colder weather coming there's alot of posts about YJ heaters. They don't even do anything. I mean i have mine on full blast on a 40 degree day, i feel nothing but cold. My heater blows very hot air, and blows out strong, so nothings broke...Is mine messed up or do YJ heaters actually work?

my heater is way too hot.

i never seen where the hot/cold cable goes. thats why you gotta trace it.

but the top heater selection lever is that visible cable in front, under glove box area.

Man. Is yours a soft top? I don't understand why i can't even feel mine, but everything works as it should.
