Heater question

My jeeps heater seems to be broken and I was hoping I can get pointed in the right direction to fix the problem, I turn it on and it just wants to blow cool air. I have no a/c. It's a 1990 2.5 .

Several things could be wrong...your cable/lever may not be allowing it to switch to heat...you could be air locked in the heater core.

What would you start with to fix it/diagnose the problem?

Just finished my heater problem last night pulled the heater hoses blew out the heater core by placing an air compresser air noozle at the inlet side(bottom nipple), Remember to have the heater in the heat position. Reconnented both hose I replaced them, topped off the fluid and started her up. AND now I have heat!!!

I would start by checking the cables. Make sure they are adjusted right and that they are moving like they are supposed to.
