help! 2.5 no power

Went wheeling today and was stuck going up a steep incline because I lost all power past 1/4 throttle. Was in water before the hill came up. Putting a snorkel on soon but I didnt have any water in the filter. I got her home and all the way here (about 10 miles). Same problem. If it was water in the distributor cap, wouldn't it have burned off by now?

All it takes is a little moisture in the cap or wires to misfire.
