help

I am trying to take the dash out of my yj and can not figure out how to take the grab handle off of the passenger side. Can anyone help me with this, also, is folding the windshield the only way to remove the top dash pad.

yes you have to fold the windshield down there are 6 or so torx bolts up under the windshield along with a few screws after those are out u could almost take the entire dash out in one piece if everything were disconnected behind the dash

The grab handle is basically part of the glove box. The screws that secure it are on the back side. Youo basically need to remove the entire dash to get it off unless you have very small and nimble hands.
