help???

didnt know were to post this its cherokee 97 sport hit guard rail while doing a 180 now have light on that says part time for the 4 wheel drive umm what did my friend break lol so far we know that if he turns really fast and close the left front tire kinda bounces and goes click click click anybody know what is broke

this is the YJ part of the forum. probably messed up a sensor, the check engine light might be on and if it is brg it to a advanced auto parts and have them tell u whats wrong

LOL it says part time for 4wd... are you sure it didnt say that before? I dont know man dont know anything about the Cherry! and sounds like your problem is more than just a light/engine/sensor if your tires doing that. did you look at track/sway bars and stuff? maybe bent a rim or axle or who knows what.

Sounds like a busted u-joint, check the that 1st, As for the light, I think there is a senor/button in below the shifter you can check might just need adjustment.

i have wrangler lol my friend wanted help he asked me to ask u guys but yea i was going with the u joint he was sliding on a off ram in monroe because they didnt plow it and he hit the guard rail wit the right front side of his bumper and then the left side started doing the click thing when he turns and it kinda bounces if he turns fast on the left side to but i will join the jeepforum site to i guess thanks man

I've had cherokees too blackwrangler and everytime a front uni went bad it would make that clicking sound and wobble the wheel on the bad side during a turn.

The universal joint on the end of the front axle/axles. I just assumed your friends Cherokee was a 4 wheel drive cause I forget that some are not.

just talked to him had 4 wheel drive on when he hit the guard rail wit the right side he said he was doing 180 hit the wall then lite came on said part time and the wobble

it doesnt wann turn itn snow in 4 wheel drive and when he was in 4 wheel drive before he hit guard rail the light never came on
