Help identifying this part?

Found this loose behind the dash with two hoses connected to the ports...seems to have a button on one end? It was hanging loose...please help! Thanks

some sort of vacuum switch?

I'm pretty sure it's from the heater mechanism to open and close the air from outside and all that

It attaches to the bottom of the heater controls and runs the vacuum lines to operate the flipper doors.

I looked under the dash of my Jeep, here is another picture with it in place. I took it from the drivers side foot well looking up right under the lighter.

It's your flux capacitor.

haha jk

It's def. from your heat control area. When I did the LED dash light swap I forgot to reconnect the hose. Had everything put back together, turned her on, and heard a ton of hissing coming from behind the heater controls.
