Help installed new tie rod ends and boots tore..

I just installed new tie rod ends all of them and yesterday when I checked them all the boots were torn? why?

They were brand new tie rods and boots?? Is it possible to overtighten them?

what did you useto tighten them down. if the tool used wasa 3/4 impact them yes but doing it with hand tools its dobtful.. did you put grease in them and where they in a bind when you put them in
