Help needed

My YJ's engine blew last night on my way home. Had to be flatbedded off the NY Thruway and is now at the towing company 's shop. This is a long shot I know, but if anyone has a vehicle with a hitch on it, I have a tow bar. I just need a pull home. Everyday its there i'll be charged storage fees unless of course I junk it. Only a true jeeper would understand. You're not supposed to junk a jeep....just putting it out there is all...like I said, long shot. Its off exit 17 on the thruway just in case, thank you

Post up in the local NY section you might have better luck. If I was anywhere near you I'd definitely help out but I'm about 13 hours away. Good luck man.

Have THEM tow it to your house...... should be covered by your auto club (AAA, etc)

Find a friend with aaa they cover the driver not the vehicle. I'd help but the thruway no where close enough with my truck... An hour away is even too far with my truck but good luck!

Jeeptrd is correct. Find any friend with AAA coverage and they can have the jeep towed to your house at no charge to you. That aside the cost of AAA membership is short money for a possible tow of up to 100 miles. Our YJ's are getting up there in years and ya never know. Right?
