I have a 1991 jeep Wrangler with a Cherokee motor installed. I bought this Jeep last year. I have put a total of 36 mile on it. I am getting no spark at all. The I have replaced.
Distributor and cap
Timing chain and gears
As well as all the fuel sensors and regulators.
Still to this day NO Spark.
I have been told that the ECM needs replaced and I am willing to do that however.
A new ECM will only work if the car is configured correctly, right
The mechanics I have had look and work on it have done a pretty good hack job on the W. harness.
Any Ideas about what to do or who I can get to look at it.
Do you have the 4.0? What did it have before that? answering these questions will give some of the wiring veterans on here more to go on.
IF it had the 4.0 to begin with I would have to say that it sure sounds like the ECM
wherever you go there you are..........
