Unhappy Help Please

I am a new owner of a 1994 Jeep Wrangler which I have wanted since i was 16 years old. I was recently able to purchase a jeep at good price, but it has some electrical issues. My speedomater and RPm dash controls dont work and my instrument panel does not work. If any one could give me some direction on trouble shooting why they are not working I would really appreciate it. All my fuses have showed good current running through them when I tested then in the fuse box. The Box is some miner corosion around the fuse recepticles but have been cleaning them, but current is still running through good shows the tester. Thanks any one for some help in this matter.

you may have corrosion on the contacts on the back of the cluster itself

good place to start would be to check the wires on the back of the gauges themselves. if you have voltage at the wires then you have an issue with connection or the gauges. if you dont start tracing wires back until you find your problem. good luck

From what I can see on the wiring diagram, there is one thing that ALL of these gauges have in common. It's a dark blue wire with a white stripe on it. It's the 12v in for all of those gauges. It also powers other misc. switches and lights for when you turn the key before starting like (neutral safety switch, parking brake indicator light, shift indicator, 4wd indicator light and anti-lock indicator light). It might be a good place to start. Check the condition of the wire and all of it's connections at the gauges.
