Unhappy Help with 95 Wrangler Computer

Hello i have a 1995 Wrangler with an Engine Computer with the following indentification # 56028832 the 832 is larger numbers.
Auto Zone has rebuilt Computer's with # 56028828 and and #56028833. Can anyone tell me if there numbers are compatible?
It has the 2.5 4 Cyl. engine and automatic transmission.
As electric components are not returnable i don't want to shell out $250 for something that won't work. they can't guarantee me that the replacement Computers are the proper ones. Thank You kd9k

Looks like they just don't have the right one. Seek elsewhere.

Why do you think you need a computer? (you knew that would be coming if you posted the Q)

We have a new alternator and can't get it to work, have traced all the wires etc, cleaned all the grounds. Have been told told the voltage regulator is on the Engine Computer.
Any help here? Thank You kd9k

Assuming that to be true, I'd want to make 100% sure the non-refundable part I am about to spend $200+ on is indeed bad. I would want to 1) swap in a free loaner and see if it fixes it, or 2) see a computer tester read back out 'this part is bad', then buy the new part from the store that had the tester. I would NOT just go by 'well if this doesn't work, that must be bad'.

That is true - but I'd first take it to a specialty shop to have it tested before blowing $200+ on a new ECU.
