I had a power steering leak last week. I thought the leak was in the reservoir or return tubes but once I wiped it down with a rag it was an obvious leak from the power steering pump itself.
I ended up removing my power steering pump, taking it to autozone bought a new power steering pump while I was there. I brought the old power steering pump to avoid the tax on the core charge save a little money. You need a special tool for the pulley on the power steering pump, lucky enough autozone lets you use their tools for free. I used it right in the shop to put take the pulley off and onto the new one. I got home installed the power steering pump, I had a friend take me to auto zone, now the jeep runs better than ever. Turning is great, don't forget to bleed the system though. If you have any questions feel free to ask, chilton manual helped me out also
