Help! !! YJ sputtering! Oil gauge moves!

Ok so I drove to pick up my new number and everything was fine. Then later on way back I noticed my car would sputtered on take off, 2nd 3rd and 4th.. I was on surface streets so dont know about 5th. I also noticed the oil gauge was almost all the way to the right. I parked and on neutral...I revved up the engine and the oil gauge moved as if it were the speedometer! But wouldn't go back past half when I let go of gas.

I just had an oil change last week at jiffy lube!
I checked the oil and I can't even tell cause the oil is so clear.... can u guys tell??

Even fresh oil should be somewhat visible on the dipstick. I wonder if Jiffy Lube put in enough oil. Did they replace the oil filter also? I have heard so many horror stories of quick lube shops doing shoddy work that I have always just done my own services.

I would check do another oil change or take it back there & ask them to inspect it. Like turdhurdler said those little stop and go shops can and sometimes are little half ass hack shops.

It doesnt look like much oil was there from what I could see.................You didnt see any leaks anywhere near where you park? That right there if its low on oil should help determine if its a leak or they half ass'd you IMO.
