Helpful Links for YJ/CJ owners!

Helpful link for YJ/CJ owners easy links for upgrade info!
Found this last night when I was surfing the web for the YJ part that I had that got burned up.

Write up with pictures on how to preform the Nutter and Juicebox upgrades for us owners that have carb engines!

Nutter Bypass/Team Rush

Some other helpful links!

Great Carbs, but VERY HARD TO KEEP TUNED!!
Weber Carbs
These run in the range of $300-350 bucks! In hind sight, I would not have bought this carb even though I got a great deal on it ($150) The headache of keeping it tuned is horrible!

Your best bet for a simple upgrade!
Motorcraft info
You can find a MC 2100/2150 on ebay with adapter plate for around $289 If you are mechanically inclined you can pick one up at the junkyard and rebuild it for cheap!

HEI Upgrade for the AMC 258!
HEI Ignition Upgrade!

4.2 to a 4.0 Head swap info:
4.0 Head swap

Swapping from 2pc YJ axles to TJ 1pc here!

Or for you cheap asses (like myself!!)

Home made Posi Loc

Or even cheaper: Washer Lock!

and here are the diagrams of the vacuum control:

Here is a write up on how to install TJ flares on the YJ

I will add more info as I find it!

I'd like to add this link: AdvanceAdapters.com | Engine & Transmission Conversion Adapters - Advance Adapters

They sell kits that make it relatively easy to swap in various 6 or 8 cylinder engines into our Jeeps. A review I read online claimed they were able to swap in a V6 using one of their kits using hand tools in a parking garage.

So ive been having A LOT of trouble finding new PCV valve grommets for my 89 YJ 2.5L. Seems like no one's got them and Quadratec and 4WD have the wrong part. I finally found a website thats got them though.

Hope this helps!

I'd like to add this. It's a great site for comparing wheel sizes, rim sizes, backspacing, etc.
