heres a new 4wd vac line diagram and help please ?

here is a 4wd vac line diagram i found on another site. im still having problems with mine. my 4wd lines where messed up when i got it, or at least the red line was. my 4wd enages and disengages, it just the lite peroidicly works or it doesnt, or it comes on and off. i understand some of this diagram but not all. it looks like the red line goes to the vac ball, which makes sense to me cuz mine is just long enuff to fit. but it doesnt show where the other line goes to ? does the other line go to manifold vac ? some of my other 4wd vac lines, and the one to the indicator do not exactly follow that layout either, and they all look original ? also, i purchased the new vac switch for my t-case per info from this site, but due to my year of jeep (1987) i can reach the switch but not with a tool. do i gotta drop the t-case to replace it ? i hope others can use this diagram for help as well. thanks for any info folks.
