exhaust temp tells you if you are lean or not, for one thing

I'm not sure how exhaust temps got brought up, if is was the question about the catalyst. A catalyst is the chemical added to the water to make the reaction that produces the hydrogen and oxygen more efficient.

I am ready to stand corrected if your generator only draws 6amps and produces 3lpm. That would only be 75watts or so which would only translate into like a tenth of a horse power. Most of the generators online don't list the draw, but are comming with 60amp fuses or circuit breakers.

Ya it's about 6amps cold which i believe is what you should go by and as the cell heats up the amp is 12-15 and I believe thats the reaction and the electrolyte along with the heat of reaction

Once again that's one of the calculation arguments. The higher draw should be used in the calculations(I believe). Also the tenth hp thing would be at 100% efficiency, which what we are talking about I think would be in the 40-60% range, the heat is the loss of efficiency.

Just found this thread today. Where's the mpg update? The suspense is killing me. If this works without hand grenading the the motor, I'm trying it. Way to go Ben, pioneers lead the way!

Ya that's true...and I also just remembered that that I'm running 31s on stick gears...that messes with the odometer right?

Yes. You can still use the readings to see if there's change, but the amounts will be off some. Do you have a gps you can use to get mileage?

I guess the roads are real bad in that you need 4x4 the whole way and it very hilly and rocky so I think she loves it haha

oh man, i am bummed. this thread is ending like all the other hho threads on the net.

pull it off and send it down here. i will run it for two months and then send it back and keep everyone updated. i fill up once a week, on schedule because i run the same path everyday, on a set schedule, so we would have good numbers. i already have been tracking ym mileage on fuelly so it would be easy to show the improvement.
