Question Hi lift Mounts

I'm looking for ideas for mounting a hi lift. Show me what you have.

Are you going to carry it all the time? Or just when you wheel? That makes a difference in where you should mount it, because some mounting points are less practical for all-time use. Mine is inside, mounted to the rear of the main roll bar. I can keep it there when the soft-top is on. When the hard-top is on, I have to tilt it down a bit.

Not the best pic of the mounts, but you get the idea:

What kind of front bumper are you running? Do you have a winch or tow hood up front?

They will be releasing one for your model jeep soon and for the $530 price it comes with the 30" light bar also.

I don't like mounting it outside, as I carry it all the time and don't want it exposed to the elements. I am not in favor of a bumper mount, as it could get bent - such is the way I drive..
So here's how I mounted mine.....

not finished yet. Still need to shorten the bolts, get proper bushings, (pieces of old hose are there now), and then paint it black with bedliner. ALso need to find 1/2 in wing nuts as lowese didn't have them

I like the hood mounts, are they in the way at all? Such as driving and flipping up your hood on your windshield?
