High Beam Problems

I have a '92 YJ and my high beams won't stay on. Low beams work perfect, but when I turn on the high beams they stay on only 10 sec.-1 min then shut off for a little bit. Any suggestions, other than the square vs. round headlight thing.

Sounds like your switch might need to be replaced.

My wife took it to the dealership to have them look at it on one of her days off and in true form they said they "could not get it to duplicate". Lazy bastards. How difficult is it to replace? Do I just remove the steering wheel and I can access it from there, or do I need to remove the whole column case?

Down on the steering column...look for the rod from the turn signal stalk...
