high beams work, low beams dont

just this morning the low beams worked then i had the brights on and went back to low while driving and they werent on at all... whats going on here?? a fuse? i looked but couldnt figure it out... help please and thanks...

Dual filament bulbs, could be the low beam filaments are out. If they went at the same time though it's more likely a corroded connection on the dimmer switch.

had both low beams go out on my 84 z28, drove me nuts checking everything, only to find both bulbs blown

1.25 motor mount lift BTF front cage
2003 ford f-250 SD sc auto 4x4 7.3 diesel not stock any more
98 TJ 2.5 was a basket case, heart transplant, interior repaint, some taller springs,new shocks, newer top, pissin me off with stupid problems

Take a bulb out and connect it to the battery and ground, then you'll know if it's the bulb or your stalk.

i tested it at the plug and highs have power and when you switch it to low and test it there is no power in the low section. so i know the bulbs are fine, its somewhere in the wiring. maybe the dimmer switch on the column??
