High idle

I have a 95 4 cyl. Just changed the water pump and now idles at 2k. I've read thru about every post and see the common answer is a vac leak. All of the vac lines have been replaced and are in good condition and no exhaust leak. Any other ideas?

If it's not a vacuum leak it could be a bad gasket on your intake. Spray carb cleaner all around your intake manifold, if that's it the engine well rev higher. If that's not it then it is your iac. The iac should throw a code, but it doesn't always.

So I pulled the air intake to get to the iac and re-ran all the vacuum lines. Found that the back bolt to the manifold was loose. Tightened it up and running good! Thanks for the help!
