How can I get more hp out of the 2.5l manual wrangler.

thats a good one. check around on ebay there was a guy selling an e book on how to do a home brew turbo that would put you at about 210hp.how true this is ....idk but its like 8.99 and it shows you how to do it for like 350 which is pretty decent.i tried finding it but i couldnt there was mention on a thread here about it so look for some past threads.

Other than bolting on some boost... nothing.

Do you have oversized tires? If so the only way to "regain" power is to regear the axles.

You can get some by replacing your catalytic converter, putting on a lower resistance muffler and going to a larger diameter exhaust pipe. It won't be a lot but it will help.
