Hose Clamps for Intake

Hey guys, I was trying to undo my intake hose to get to the throttle body spacer that the PO installed to remove it. I have read many forums about how worthless they are and all it really does is throw the check engine light when i floor it. (i have the 2.5L 4 banger)

But I digress... what are these clamps and how do I remove them? I texted my jeep buddy and he has no idea either so here I am! I tried to take pliers to them and really squeeze the crap out of them and i cant get them to budge!

Pick up slightly on the end that has the ridges and pull away from the other u til loose. Don't remove completely. You will be able to pull the hose off then

I've been running a TB spacer for about 10 years now and never once has it thrown the "Check Engine" light. I would say you have another problem not related with the TB spacer but when you remove it and the light doesn't come on I will be stumped.

in my other thread you are all pushing me away from removing it. I am going to try to pull the codes and post them: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f8/remo...er-244938.html
