Question How do you take these off?

I have removed all visible bolts that hold these on. I need to paint them and would like to take them off rather than tape it up. Thanks.

You have to take off the whole fender. They are welded.

Are you painting them with a black truck bed liner? If so I'd love to see some pics when it's done.

Never had chrome. I did it because I was getting sick of pits on all those parts.

I did the same thing, when i bought mine it was a chrome nightmare. I took everything off and painted or replaced it with black. I haven't done the grille, its the only thing chrome left on the vehicle.

I must say, that looks really slick. I am thinking about doing that now that I have seen it done. My jeep is dark Green and I think the color contrast would be really sweet looking especially if I do the black grill inserts and headlight bezels.

Lightly sanded then after taping them off I wiped them down with alcohol. The main thing is to just do light coats.
