How much lift?

I was told by the po that my yj has 8" of lift. Its soa but I was wondering what lift kit might be on it... Is there a way to tell maybe measuring the pitman arm or some other part to give me an idea of how much lift it has? Any help would be appreciated.

Post some pics. What tire size? Measurement from rocker to ground.

I also have the same question. Would it be too rude if I jump in here and do the same, meaning posting some pics to find out what lift I have on my jeep?

I also want to make my ride smoother. My shocks will be replaced but also want to find out what other things I could do to make my ride more comfortable and also firm. Maybe adding coils, or new Leaf springs? I inspected my ride and could not find where to also attack coils.

Thanks

What lift kit do I have?

This is my jeep and I wanted to know what lift kit do I have, and what is the best set of shocks that I could use.

Can I still use the stock shocks? or do I need to buy other type?

I have 31's

Thank you.

stock springs, lift shackles and possibly a 1" body lift.

Going to take a guess and say that you have a 1in shackle lift and 1in body lift either of those could be underestimated by about .5in

Thanks I like my doors too...

Hey guys!

Thanks for the replies. In regards of shocks can I still use the stock ones? and how could we be more specific, about the lift?

I know that from the center of the wheel to the fender it is 20 inches in the front and 21 in the back.

Here's some pics I've tried getting the numbers off the shocks to see if that could give me an idea. What about the shackles how long are the stock ones?

Im new to the forum but have had several jeeps and currently have a YJ, CJ, XJ and the ex wife just got the JK in divorce but what it looks like to me is a spring over which lifts the jeep about 3.5 to 4" 1 3/4" lift shackles and by the looks of the leaf springs around a 3" suspension lift I could be wrong but that is what it looks like to me

Thanks for the thoughts which leads to another question. If I went back to stock shackles would I have to look at getting a new Pittman arm, sway bar end links ect.?

What upper doors are those? I have half doors for my yj and a hardtop and I want to buy upper doors. Those look like they fit well.
