How to increase tension on a 1991 Wrangler belt?

I am not exactly mechanically inclined as my buddy usually does all my car work. (I do my own oil changes but that is about it).

Anyways I have a Mean Green Alternator and the belt was squealing like a stock pig, and now I believe the belt does not have enough tension because the battery is not being recharged at all from the alternator. Battery gage just goes down and doesnt come back up.

I believe its the power steering pump arm that tightens the belt. There are a couple of bolts on the front to loosen it and then a bolt on the back that will move it up and down in a semi circle.

Power Steering Pump. 4 Bolts, all 13mm. 1 Adjuster 13mm
1 Front Top Center (Pivot Point)
1 Front Bottom Center (Locks adjusting bolt)
2 Rear (In slots, have to be loose for pump to pivot) (lower one is a little tough to get at, but doable with normal 13mm wrench)

Adjustment is 13mm bolt head facing Driver Side.

Loosen all 4 13mm bolts
Turn Adjustment Counter Clockwise to tighten.

Might want to go ahead and put a new belt on too if you haven't already.
