How to replace the ignition coil

Hello :wavey:

So I found the reason mu jeep won't idle properly and, as of today, won't run at all.

My ignition coil is running off of the stock ignition coil and the stock ignition coil is malfunctioning and arching like crazy to everything it can touch (its every arching through a spark plug cable and actually firing the plug)

So how hard is it to replace an ignition coil properly? and is there a write link that someone has?

Thanks :)

Ok cool, but now heres where the fun comes in

The stock coil has a female top while the distributor is from a 1991 engine and has a male top. the PO has a performance coil wired into the two contact points on the stock coil so that both coils fire (but only the newer one has a plug going to the distributor) Sooooo.... yeah :(
