How to tell if I have a transfer case drop kit

Well I just recently purchased my yj and it has a 4" lift on it with 32" tires. I have been hearing that drop kits for the transfer case is a good idea but how do i know if mine has one already or not? I dont want to be going thru u-joints on a constant level....

Is the trans skid bolted directly to the frame? If not you have one. Any king of spacer in between that it.

You'll still go through u-joints with a t-case drop kit and 4" lift. Start saving for an sye and a constant velocity driveshaft. Th Previous owner might have already added that though so show pictures.

here's an old picture of my YJ with a T-Case drop (the 3 silver pucks). Most look similar to this and there's a variance to some brands that are just a 1" thick square bar that extends the length of the 3 bolts that hold the skid plate up on each side. Just hop under there and see if your skid is mounted directly to the frame or not.
