My jeep takes forever to produce heat and warm the jeep up. What could be some possible problems and/or solutions?
Thanks,

First thing I'd try is flushing the heater core, then check the thermostat.

Does your temperature gauge come up to normal in 5 minutes or less? I not, you could have a stuck thermostat. Might want to check coolant level and make sure there is no air in the system. Check out the heater circuit including the heater coolant lines, controls - when you move your dash control, does it open the inline valve in the coolant line?

Hopefully it's the thermostat (easy fix) and not the heater core (f bombs, bloody knuckles, screaming at the sky, mental anguish).

Do you have water pooling in the passenger side wheel well?

That did it for me. Coolant in the passenger side wheel well means replace heater core.

Don't write off the core until you have checked the heater hoses and connections to the core.
