I want to clean my intake manifold.

Hi Guys...

I have the upper part of my 4.2 apart. The head is going to the machine shop.

But I want to give the intake a good cleaning.... inside and out. Can I get some tips on the correct solvents and brushes etc. to use? Is there anything I should be extra careful of?

Thanks,

Tom

Long as u have the Carb off u can use brake cleaner or Carb cleaner basically anything starting fluid works to and gas .. basically just scrubing it with a wire brush or tooth brush its very simple

Take it to a radiator shop and have them put it into their tank...
