I4 or I6 Frame?

I don't have a VIN for this donor frame and I'm trying to determine if it's an I4 or I6 frame. I have a I6 engine and I know that the I4 mounts are in a different location. I looked at my frame and tried to compare, my Jeep is still in one piece, so it's hard to tell where the mounts are. Best I could tell the donor is a I6, but I don't feel that I'm that lucky.

Charleybrwn13, I don't have my frame here at the moment (4cyl) but if I had to guess your mounts look in a different place than mine. I will be at my storage site tomorrow to get a piece of equipment and I will measure the mount locations then. Dave

Charleybrwn13, I had the chance to check out my frame this afternoon and get some measurements. The measurements are as follows: Drivers side centering hole(?) is 36 1/2 " from the front of the frame and passenger is 37 1/2 " from the front. I hope I don't have them backwards but you get the picture. I do know for sure that my frame is a 4 cyl. frame because the engine was still on it. Good luck, Dave

Thanks Dave! I measured mine awhile ago and I think they measured closer to 32 and 33, can't remember for sure.
